In the last few months we have brainstormed, conceived and birthed KelownaEvents.info - most comprehensive Kelowna events listings (in partnership with Digital Perfections). We are very excited about opportunities this new Kelowna portal can bring!

Our most recently launched project is a website for Southern Interior Development Initiative Trust. This government funded body has 50 million to finance promising ideas in Southern Interior. You can not afford not to know about them!

Idea Bureau has completed FortisBC website - www.fortisbc.com

In addition to new look and new and improved visitor experience, we also created fun and interactive modules to engage FortisBC website visitors

• Flash interactive floor plan - roll over the fridge, stove, and bathroom sink on the plan to learn tips that help you to save money on your utility bills
• Energy efficiency calculator - find out how much your fish tank costs you a month.
• Flash service area map - to showcase capital projects in FortisBC service area

We worked extensively with Fortis to determine website architecture based on the needs of main visitor groups. We've suggested to implement energy efficiency and safety tips and displayed them on every page.

Overall the site balances residential and commercial customer needs for information, as well as needs of media, general public and Fortis corporate interests.

Idea Bureau is now offering Search Engine Positioning services!

In our Search Engine Positioning consultation we

• advise on the keywords that your potential customers would be typing when looking for your services on search engines.
• develop Link Building Strategy
• compile a list of Online Directories to submit to (paid and unpaid) and will do the submission to the free directories
• Advise on Cost of Paid Link Building if any and proceed with submission if agreed on.
• AdWords - paid Google advertising recommendations. This system can be very successful for certain types of businesses. We will research if this is a good fit for your business, recommend the ad text and post the first ad online.
• We will edit your website text to include the keywords from the step 1.

Search engine listings change all the time due to changes in technology and your competitor search engine optimization activity. To keep your company name high in the search results, you would need to monitor your results monthly. We can also offer on a monthly fee basis

• Provide monthly report on how many visitors your website receives and where they come from.
• Continue link building activity and submission to new directories
• Monitor your AdWords campaign and report on the results and statistics from your advertising.

Currently the services above are mostly offered to our existing web design customers at very little cost as an added value. However we will consider offering this service separately on a case by case basis. Please contact us for details.
